The Black Bay 58 (Ref. 79030N) that was introduced in 2018 is based on historic Tudor Submariner models. Specifically, the “Big Crown” Ref. 7924 that was introduced in 1958 and the Snowflake that first came out in 1969 on Ref.s 7016 and 7021 (and eventually Refs. 9411/0, 9401/0, 94010 and 94110). The Black Bay 58 takes the retro-vintage inspiration a step further than the 70922R models because at 39 mm it’s comparable to the original big crown.
